THE GIRL SCOUT LAW
I will do my best to be honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong, and responsible for what I day and do, and to respect myself and others, respect authority, use resources wisely, make the world a better place, and be a sister to every Girl Scout.

THE GIRL SCOUT PROMISE
On my honor, I will try: To serve God and my country, To help
people at all times, And to live by the Girl Scout Law.
Welcome to the home of Girl Scouts Troop 6511 at Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Roswell, Georgia!
Are you interested in learning a sport, sampling the arts, preparing for a career, or rafting down a river? Do you dream of publishing stories online, traveling to exotic locales, or speaking on behalf of girls in Washington, D.C.? In Girl Scouting, you can do all this and more! As part of our troop, girls will develop their leadership potential through activities that enable them to discover their values, skills, and the world around them; connect with others in a multicultural environment; and take action to make a difference in the world. Grades K-12 are welcome to be a part of this exciting opportunity. There is no deadline, so join us anytime! Together we create a positive force for good in the live of girls. Our troop welcomes girls from Dunwoody, Roswell, Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, East Cobb, Cumming, and Marietta.
TO SERVE GOD… The motivating force in Girl Scouting is a spiritual one. Girl Scouting and faith-based communities have positive underlying values and both strive to instill these values in young women. The Girl Scout movement encourages girl and adult members to become stronger in their own faith. Girls have more opportunities through the Girl Scout program to grow in their ability to apply their religious beliefs to life situations. Girls make better moral decisions when they are active in both Girl Scouting and a faith-based community compared to girls who participate in only one or the other.
Girls can join Girl Scouts at different grade-levels:
- Girl Scout Daisy, grades K-1
- Girl Scout Brownie, grades 2-3
- Girl Scout Junior, grades 4-5
- Girl Scout Junior, grades 4-5
- Girl Scout Cadette, grades 6-8
- Girl Scout Senior, grades 9-10
- Girl Scout Ambassador, grades 11-12
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who help to make the world a better place.
